It's back down to basics again today. I had 1/2 cup Fage 2% yogurt and 1/4 cup Anahola Granola.
I was out for a walk and it was hot so I had an iced coffee with some half and half.
I got back mildly ravenous but pickin's are slim in the refrigerator. I had some leftover rice and one leftover chicken thigh from my Asian Garlic Chili Chicken. I shared the chicken. I had a little blop of chili garlic paste to eat with my 1/4 cup of rice. Lunch was a little meager but I was too lazy to make a salad.
I'm going to have an early dinner out so I said NO to my afternoon snack. I did take another walk and I'm close to my 10k goal already.
In keeping my with normal habit we had a light "appetizer" dinner. We shared a Kale and Parmesan salad with toasted nuts and heart of palm which I loved, an order of pork belly (I was not a fan) and a wonderful Unagi Royal sushi with unagi, mushrooms and tobiko.
Also for a little starter we had some edamame with really nice spices and a little heat, excellent!
I didn't try any desserts because I'm sure I had over my calorie allotment. I did walk home which put me over 16k steps for day.
Up until dinner I only had about 400 calories for the day. I estimated my total of the day higher than it probably was but when it comes to restaurant food it tends to be even worse, calorie wise than you think. I'll let my scale be my guide.
