I try to have a hearty breakfast because I'll be walking a lot again today but less than yesterday. I whipped up a scrambled egg, a slice of Dave's Killer skinny bread and a slice of thick ham. The ham was salty and too thick for my liking.
I was out and about at snack time so I didn't have anything but had lunch early.
We found a cute little spot. I ordered a crab cake appetizer and I ate just one of the crab cakes and all the greens. My husband ate the other crab cake and the little pie you see below. I had one bite of the filling, no crust.
I skipped my afternoon snack again but not on purpose. I was out walking and by the time I got back it was time for an early dinner.
Dinner was appetizers again. It's just easier for me when eating out to share a couple of appetizers rather than try to have a regular meal and have a lot of stuff left over or go to waste. We shared some deviled eggs (they had a little lobster meat on top), some chicken wing (drumettes) mesquite grilled (not fried) with a cucumber dip (I didn't use). We also shared some pot stickers, those were probably the most caloric.
My husband ate the Coconut Cream Pie shown below. I ate one good size bite but it was hard to stop there. Excellent pie! After dinner we took another mile or so walk.
Dinner was early and I got a little hungry. I ate one of my usual Kirkland Nut Bar's. They have way fewer calories than that big cream pie.
Another day of lots of walking, meals remained moderate. I sure sleep well when I walk so much. I hope the scale will be kind tomorrow. Have a good one, see you then!
