Almost back down to my lowest. Today begins some traveling so I'll see how I do without my Nutrisystem foods.
My image shows a full package of each but I had only half.
The only thing available was about 1/4 cup of fresh fruit. I also had some tomato juice (not low sodium).
I probably didn't order the best thing on the menu. I ate about 1/3 of the Fish Curry and only one small bite of the rice. I brought the rest back so I can have it tomorrow. This curry was made with fresh house-made green curry paste, coconut milk, shiitake mushrooms, ahi tuna, and sweet onions. Beyond delicious!
Clearly, I didn't need one!
We had appetizers for dinner. We shared Baked Shrimp Tomatoes, Hawaiian Chiles and Garlic. I had about 3 shrimp and all the tomatoes. The dish just did not have a lot of flavor. We also shared some Ribs. We each had one and took the other 2 back to eat another day.
After dinner we took another good walk. I racked up over 10k steps for the day. I got a little peckish later and had a Kirkland Nut Bar (210 calories). I'm sure I didn't need it but it was good anyway.
Traveling is rough on the diet. Even in small portions many foods are very high in calories, fat and sodium. I'll have to make better food choices or I'll be in trouble. I actually bought a travel scale (which I compared to my regular scale) and it's almost the same as my home version so I can see how good (or bad) I did. I'll let you know tomorrow!
