I could have been brave but I was not. I will weigh in the morning.
Determined to get back on track I started my morning with the usual 2 cups of coffee and a Nutrisystem Turkey Sausage and Egg Muffin. It was a good feeling to be back to smaller portions of "on-track" foods.
I went back to my regular Dr. Keith's Chocolate Cream protein drink. Cold but filling and very vitamin-packed.
I don't want to take much time so I quickly heated a Nutrisystem Hamburger. I tossed on a leaf of red lettuce (some still survived the cold) and a little yellow mustard. Nothing fancy but it hit the spot.
I managed to miss my afternoon snack, not on purpose but I was just busy.
I'm keeping my calories down so I had a simple dinner of the Nutrisystem Mushroom Stuffed Chicken Breast and the last of my green beans.
I decided not to have any dessert given I'm going to hop on the scale for the first time in a couple of days tomorrow morning.
I've tried to show the Nutrisystem foods in a "positive light" but evidently I'm not doing so well. My friend told me on New Years Eve that the food looks terrible! Thankfully on the most part I don't feel that way or I guess I would not still be eating it. For me this is still the most simple plan I've followed. The portioning is helpful, the food is decent. I didn't get much exercise today, drank very little water but all in all I feel positive about getting back to a normal eating routine (my new normal!).
