Tuesday December 27, 2016 Total Steps: 8943 (walk no workout) Total Calories: 942 (foods I tracked + gravy + stuffing) Water Intake: 28 Weight Loss: -.2 (-21.4 lbs loss total to date)
Well I got the courage to weigh at least. I went down 2/10 of a pound, nothing to brag about but at least in the right direction.
I decided to at least attempt to get back on track a little more. I heated my usual Nutrisystem Turkey Sausage and Egg Muffin. I didn't have any extra protein because I'm sure I've had more than enough protein for a while.
I didn't pack up all my turkey yet so I sliced about 2 3/4 oz and had that for my snack. I need to eat something leafy green today but I'll do that for lunch.
Oh boy, leafy green still did not happen. If there is good news to be had at least I made it out for walk. Before I left I had another open face turkey sandwich. See, this is why I only make turkey once a year!
My husband carved up all the remaining turkey and we took turns at nibbling at the little pieces too small to save (yeah, right). All the turkey except a few pieces for dinner is tucked away in the freezer. There is still stuffing and gravy. We also put the carcass in a big soup pot to make turkey stock.
So this is the end of the turkey and the stuffing. The rest of the left over gravy is now in freezer containers. I at least had a few green beans; the first vegetation for a couple of days. The portions were not bad but gravy is so so fattening, as is the stuffing.
You'd have thought I could go without it but... I had my usual Kirkland Nut Bar. For those new to this blog, this product is produced by the same company as the Nutrisystem Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt Nut Bar and only 10 calories more.
I feel like I'm gradually getting back on track and I hope to be 100% back on track tomorrow. It will be gym day too (that should be interesting). Meanwhile, have a great week and I'll see you tomorrow!
