It's Chistmas Eve and I need to get things prepared for my small but nevertheless time-intensive Christmas cook-a-thon. I have not had bacon in months so I fried a couple of pieces and had it alongside my Nutrisystem Buttermilk Waffle (1/2 package).
I had a few little pieces of chicken left over from my salad the other day so I munched on that for a snack.
I tired the Nutrisystem Arroz con Pollo for the first time. This goes on my "don't order this again list". I ate it all but it was pretty flavorless with all the negative attributes of rice in an MRE container. The peas were dark muted green and tasted like the old canned peas we ate as children. The chicken bits were few but taste OK.
We sat some double-cream Brie out to warm and had a little (about 2 ounces) with a little bit of a think rosemary crisp cracker/lavosh. This is not a Nutrisystem approved snack but I'm in Holiday mode.
I knew I had done enough damage with the cheese so I made a small salad and topped it with a little bit of Kirkland Signature Extra Lean ham and a little Cheddar Cheese. I dressed it with the usual olive oil and balsamic vinegar and kosher salt.
Not that I needed a snack but I chowed down on a little bag of Nutrisystem Sweet and Salty Snack Mix.
I certainly could have done worse but I could have done better too. No regrets! Merry Christmas to all tomorrow and have a wonderful day!
