Saturday December 10, 2016 Total Steps: 2291 (walk) Total Calories: 1400+ Estimated Water Intake: 32 oz Weight Loss: -1.9 (-22 lbs loss total to date)
Well whatever that weight gain blip was is gone today and a tiny bit more too. This was a real slow loss week; only about a half pound. Could be worse!
I have a commitment today with a family member and it's supposed to rain again today. My chances for 11k steps are slim. I'll see how it goes. Something else that is slim are my breakfast choices. I'm down to Nutrisystem Homestyle Pancakes. I also raided my stash of Uncured Canadian Bacon and heated 2 slices.
I had planned on my usual protein shake but due to a time miscalculation I did not have enough time to prepare before I ran out the door.
The only thing that has gone per plan today diet-wise is that I have not had any exercise to speak of. The family event went even longer than I thought. I was starving by the time I got home. I slapped together an open-face chicken sandwich and a leaf of lettuce. Thank heavens the farmer's market is tomorrow. I'm about out of everything fresh.
My afternoon snack was not a healthy one. I'm on this cheese with truffles kick. This time an d'Affinois Truffle cheese sneaked into my husband's grocery cart. Although we did not eat it all we make a significant dent which I calculated at about 300 calories (on the high side). It is 90 calories an ounce. Other than the fact I was hungry I'm not sure why I ate as much of the cheese as I did. The flavor of the truffle was unremarkable. It could not even compare to the Truffled Gouda of last week. Clearly this is just some cheese-a-holic behavior.
I tried to make up for my bad snack behavior by having only half of a Nutrisystem Italian Herb Flatbread Pizza. I topped it with some fresh chopped mushrooms, red onion and red bell pepper. I added about a tablespoon of fresh Parmesan on top. I saved the uneaten half for a lunch tomorrow. I also sprinkled on some red pepper flakes right before serving.
Here are the two little flat bread pizzas with onions, peppers and mushrooms, before the cheese topping. This was 2 pizzas for 2 people. Again we ate half of the one each.
The problem with not eating much for dinner is that I got hungry later. I picked up a high calorie snack, the Kirkland Signature Nut Bar (comes from the supplier of the (Nutrisystem Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt Nut Bar).
Well I promised to document all my behavior good or bad. So today diet-wise was pretty bad. It was even more dismal exercise-wise. Other than a tiny bit of walking pushing a family member's wheelchair I got zero exercise for the day, zilch, nada. I probably won't even weigh in the morning but I'll update you either way. Have a great Sunday, see you then!
