I had the Nutrisystem Granola Cereal and my favorite Fage 2% Greek Yogurt. I don't work out today so I don't need an abundance of calories.
I usually really like this cereal but today for some reason it seemed a bit stale. It was still good and crunchy.
For some reason protein sounded good this morning. I'd have preferred some poached chicken or something like that but all I had was Canadian bacon. I went ahead and heated three of those and I had some cucumber spears too. Kind of an odd combination.
It is cold today so it's soup again for me. I prepped the Nutrisystem Tortilla Soup. I also grated about 1/4 ounce of fresh Parmesan cheese to sprinkle on top.
I had some outdoor chores to do (yes, in the cold!) so for my snack I had a fresh cup of coffee with REAL cream. Perhaps not the most nutritious snack but boy it tasted really good.
I was in one of those moods for a fresh meal and some field greens and poached chicken sounded perfect. I simmered a chicken breast (skin removed). I quickly prepped the greens and dressed them with my usual olive oil, balsamic vinegar and kosher salt. I topped the greens with about 3 ounces of the chicken and 3/4 ounce of Danish Blue Cheese. It was exactly what I wanted.
I wanted to keep my calories down so I had a Nutrisystem Fudge Bar, one of their lower calorie snacks.
A day with zero walks. I did get some exercise from some yard chores. Tomorrow I'll hit the gym and try to make up for it. I've had too many flex meals this week so I image this may show up on the scale tomorrow. We shall see.
