It's my first workout in about 5 days. I didn't put a lot of effort into breakfast but I did heat the Nutrisystem Turkey Sausage and Egg Muffin. I should have had an extra protein (powerfuel) but again, too lazy for that.
I was hungry after my workout (which went OK by the way) but I still waited an hour before I enjoyed my usual Dr. Keith's Chocolate Cream protein shake. By the way you can use the Nutrisystem Turboshake or one of their others. I just find them icky sweet from the Stevia or other sweetener that I don't care for. Also, the Dr. Keith's version is fortified with a lot more vitamins and minerals.
I haven't managed to get out for a walk yet. I have a lot of busy work to do. I did take time to heat a Nutrisystem Hamburger and dress a few salad greens.
Although I've still not taken a walk today I was hungry for a snack. In the continued spirit of not putting too much effort into my meals I rolled up 2 slices of Kirkland Thin Sliced ham (25 calories each) and got all decorative with my mustard dots.
I had a dinner conundrum this evening. I wanted to stay "on the wagon" with Nutrisystem meals but I had one piece of fresh ahi left over from yesterday. I could freeze it (and highly likely forget about it) or use it up. It was a small piece but enough for two small servings. I went ahead and used up my blackening seasoning and seared the tuna. I steamed some fresh Italian flowering broccoli I picked up at the farmer's market on Sunday. I had leftover brown rice as well so I head a little of that too (about 1/4 cup for me).
Given my exercise, or lack thereof today I should have skipped a dessert but I didn't. I had one of my Nutrisystem faves the Nutrisystem Chocolate Cupcake. It was a nice way to end the evening.
I certainly will not be the poster dieter for Nutrisystem today. Not that I ate anything all that bad but I was very lax with exercise and water. Tomorrow is a new day. I'll strive closer to perfection or at least strive towards striving. Have a great week! I'll see you tomorrow.
