A trip to the beach was in order this morning. We headed for our usual breakfast spot. Today I had a half of a turkey and smoked Gouda sandwich and I only ate half of the baguette.
When I got back home I fixed one of my Dr. Keith's Chocolate Cream protein shakes.
It's cold out so I decided on the Nutrisystem White Bean and Chicken Chili. The spicy, warm chili hit the spot.
I skipped my afternoon snack again. This is becoming a bad habit.
While at a short shopping spree at Costco I purchased some gorgeous ahi (yellowfin) tuna. I made blackened ahi and a mustard soy sauce. I also steamed some fresh green beans but my big splurge was some steamed brown rice.
Not that I needed it but I ate one of my Kirkland Signature Nut Bars. I also replenished my supply of these addictive little bars while at Costco.
My dinner was the best I've had in a long time. Great stuff! I took a day off from exercise. I'll probably pay for that on the scale tomorrow. The good news is I'm back to the gym tomorrow for an opportunity to work off those extra calories. Have a great Monday tomorrow and I'll see you then.
