I'm still up 1/10th of a pound. Not bad all things considering!
I didn't have the healthiest breakfast this morning. I need to get to the grocery store and stock up on some of my "staples" like yogurt. I settled for the Nutrisystem Cinnamon Roll and a cup (or two) of coffee. With minimal effort in mind I tossed it in the microwave for 40 seconds then promptly chowed down. Later, after breakfast I had 1/2 cup of low fat cottage cheese.
I was busy catching up on household tasks and took a couple of minutes to enjoy an ounce of cashew nuts. After that I took a decent walk to town and back. Good thing because it ended up being my only walk for the day.
This has been a day of austere meals. I heated a Nutrisystem Grilled Chicken Sandwich and didn't even take the time to slice a vegetable to go on the side. I did pile on some lettuce and slathered a little Entube Harissa chili paste on the chicken.
Ok, so this afternoon snack was a little off course. We had about 1/2 of a cup of lower fat eggnog warmed with a sprinkling of nutmeg.
Tonight I baked the Nutrisystem Broccoli and Cheese Stuffed Chicken Breast. I don't like this one as well as the mushroom stuffed version but it's not bad. I sauteed a little yellow squash to server alongside.
Instead of dessert I went and hopped on my treadmill for 17 minutes and kept a pace of 3.5 to 3.7 mph. Phew! That said I was not even close to my 11k steps for the day. I barely broke 8k. At least I still moved some.
I think I did pretty well for my transition off a holiday meal day back to the healthier eating plan. Once the rain stops I'll get back into the swing of exercise (I hope). I hope you are all enjoying your "Black Friday" out there. Have a good one and I'll see you again tomorrow.
