Wow, better than I hoped although I wonder if it will stay down. Here's hoping!
Today will be busy. I have my workout this morning, then an appointment right after, then I need to come home and start cooking for tomorrow. There is only 3 of us so there is not a lot to prep. I'll make the croutons for Caesar salad (I steeped the garlic in olive oil last night). Then I'll wash, dry and bag the greens. I'll make my Parmesan twists tonight and bake them tomorrow on Thanksgiving. I'll go ahead and make my Cream Cheese Pumpkin pie today too. The crust is the most effort but nothing overly complex.
Meanwhile, I heated my usual workout day Nutrisystem Turkey Sausage and Egg Muffin. I took an extra minute to toast the muffin portion.
My workout went well today. I had to rush home and hop in the shower then get to my morning appointment. Something cool happened at the gym THEY NOTICED I LOST WEIGHT. That was really nice. That was the first time anyone has said anything. Gosh, now I'll really have to be on my best eating behavior. That said I frothed up my usual Dr. Keith's Chocolate Cream Protein and downed my daily half portion.
It's past noon and I haven't got a walk in yet and I'm just organizing recipes and ingredients for the few things I am cooking. Thank heavens my saint of a husband does all the grocery shopping. He was up early today and got the shopping done before we headed off for the gym. That makes my job a lot easier.
Lunch is taking a back seat so I'm doing a rinse-repeat of yesterday's lunch. I had enough chicken left to make another salad. I'm working on the end of the greens but there is plenty.
No bit shock but I missed my afternoon snack, again.
I have most my major things accomplished for tomorrow. I made dinner early so I could relax awhile. I just heated the Nutrisystem Chicken Parmesan. This time after the initial warming I removed the chicken and put it under the broiler to try to crisp it up. It seems terminally soggy. I steamed some fresh green beans. It was plenty to eat.
Knowing tomorrow may be a little off course I decided to not indulge in any snacks or dessert.
I managed a 2nd walk and got all my steps in for the day. I even drank most the water. By the time you read this it will be Thanksgiving or the day after. Here's wishing you all a great, and thankful day!
