Ok, so that looks a little better.
I'm trying to shake things up a bit. I want to make sure my weight stays down (or at least try). I prepped myself one of my Dr. Keith's Chocolate Cream Protein Shakes. I had my usual one half of the normal portion. I'll have the other half later.
I did in fact have the other half of my shake. I've had my nose to the grindstone all morning again and almost missed snack time. No walks or exercise of any kind so far today.
Of course after a skimpy breakfast I'm real hungry for lunch. I purchased some fresh chicken breast yesterday. I poached the breast (after removing the skin). I shredded the meat and served about 3-4 ounces atop a bed of field greens. I also added 1 ounce of blue cheese. I told you I was going to shake things up today! I think my body is getting too used to the same foods for months. FYI I dressed the salad greens with my usual olive oil, balsamic vinegar, kosher salt and pepper.
I skipped my snack, AGAIN, all together. I did make it out for my first walk, and what became my only walk, of the day. I made my usual sojourn to the post office and went a few more blocks for good measure. I'll at least get 5k for the day if I do nothing else.
I really considered my big lunch my dinner. Now here is where the day may have gone a little off track. We decided to head to an early movie so we skipped dinner. Instead we shared a large popcorn. I can hear you all now saying OMG, what has she done? It was very filling. Too much salt and heaven only knows what they pop it with. Clearly I did not add any of that strange butter-like-substance you find in the condiment section.
When I got home I wasn't hungry. I had a couple of glasses of water and skipped any additional snack or dessert.
I'm sure Nutrisystems would be in shock and horror over my meals today. Other than the skipped snack and the popcorn dinner it was not all that bad. I'm curious what the scale will say tomorrow but I'll let you know when I know. Have a good one and see you then!
