I have nothing more to say about my weight fluctuations.
It's time for the gym so I need to keep my breakfast high in protein. I served half a package of Nutrisystem Waffles, one scrambled egg gussied up with red bell pepper and onion, and 1/4 cup of Fage 2% yogurt. Sufficiently fortified I headed out to the gym and wow it was cold this morning! OK, so that's "California Cold" which I know is not like "East Coast" cold.
I took a short walk right after my workout but only a few blocks. After a brief stint at my desk I grabbed my now almost daily snack of 1 slice of Dave's Killer skinny bread and 3/4oz oz of Toscano salami.
I tried a new entree today; the Nutrisystem Homestyle Chicken. I'm not sure to whose home they are referring but I've never made anything that looks like this. I guess it was soup. The flavor was OK, nothing to write home about and certainly non-offensive. I sprinkled a little freshly grated Parmesan on top for flavor and just to remind myself what fresh foods taste like.
Once again I was away from home at snack time so it didn't happen, again.
I heated the Nutrisystem Chicken Parmesan entree again. It always looks so sad on the plate. I topped the pasta portion with some red pepper flakes and a little freshly grated Parmesan cheese. It didn't improve the looks but it improved the flavor.
After my dinner I decided a dessert was in order so I savored a Nutrisystem Chocolate Cupcake. These are still one of my favorite dessert items.
Although my workout was good I didn't make enough steps for the day even after a couple of walks. I have an out of town appointment in the morning so getting a walk in will be even more difficult. We'll see what tomorrow brings, meanwhile, have a healthy nutritious day!
