I'm back in a weight holding pattern. I'm sure my lack of consistency with meals and exercise is not helping.
Of all the things I have on my plate today not much of it is interesting food. I toasted a Nutrisystem Honey Wheat Bagel and scrambled a quick egg with a little green onion and about a teaspoon of butter.
I tried piling my eggs on my bagel but it never quite worked out.
After breakfast we took a walk but not real far, less than 2 miles. I have a pile of work to do at home today. I'm hoping I'll get back out and walk again before dark.
After I got back from my walk and before I dug into my chores I slapped a couple slices of Kirkland Thin Sliced Extra Lean ham (50 calories) on a slice of Dave's Killer skinny bread and topped it with mustard. Done!
Progress on my chores is slow going. My house feels as though it is in disarray. I just have lots of "stuff" that needs to be rearranged. There are closets that need attention too but I know better than to try to dig too deep the first organizational pass. I got hungry again so I stopped for lunch. I grabbed a Nutrisystem Pepperoni Pizza Melt and heated that and served it with a quick mixed field greens salad. That's about the end of that; good thing tomorrow is Sunday and I can refill my greens at the farmer's market.
My projects are moving forward but very slowly. I think I need about 3 or 4 Saturday's in a row to catch up. I stopped long enough to eat about 1/2 ounce of Toscano salami as a snack and a treat for my efforts.
I've done about as much as I can do for today. I'm at the stage where stuff is so stirred up it looks worse than before I began. I'm hoping I can create order tomorrow. Meanwhile I baked a Nutrisystem Mushroom Stuffed Chicken Breast and steamed some fresh green filet beans (skinny green beans). I polished off all my salad at lunch so I just kept it real simple.
I had the Kirkland Nut Bar (210 calories) for my snack. I always feel guilty after eating these.
I never made it out for another walk. I have to be honest here I didn't even try to make it out the treadmill. The treadmill is in an odd location and even the slightest inconvenience is enough to keep me from using it. That's why my gym is literally 2 minutes from my back gate. I look forward to a visit to the farmer's market tomorrow for more fresh stuff. I'll see you Sunday!
