And my weight bounced up today. I've given up trying to figure out why my body does what it does; it just does.
I'm still dealing with back issues so I'm not sure my workouts are better or worse for my health. I opted to go. I did some reduced versions of some of the exercises to avoid any strain to my already sore back. I took a short walk after; just a few blocks. Before I left I heated the Nutrisystem Buttermilk Waffles and the Turkey Sausage and Egg Muffin and I ate half of each.
I was hungry after my workout and walk so I chucked down two slices of Kirland Extra Lean thin ham slices (total of 50 calories) and had them with one slice of Killer Dave's skinny bread and some mustard. Aside from salads my meals have been seriously bereft of fresh vegetation. I'm really going to get to the store today. That said there is little in the produce department with any flavor. There is still probably some nutrients. I don't blame our farmers, I love and respect those guys and gals but we have food distribution issues that causes the production of odorless and tasteless fruits and vegetables. But, I digress, sorry.
I tossed a Nutrisystem Grilled Chicken Sandwich in the microwave and crisped in my mini convection. I whipped up a quick batch of Harrisa Mayonnaise with my Entube Harrisa paste and a little mayo. That paste and some lettuce is about all I had to adorn my sandwich.
After I let my lunch settle a few minutes I headed out for a walk. I went about half my usual walk. I got back and I'm at 10.5k steps so I'll make my goal for the first time in maybe a week? It's been quite a while.
I have a 5:00 appointment. I have to say I dislike afternoon appointments much less end of day appointments. It's a necessary evil so I'm going. I'll figure out dinner later.
So, I ended up getting some appetizers out after my late-ending appointment. We walked so I got more steps in too. I kept it simple, some Korean Tacos, it came with 4 I had two. I have no idea how many calories so I estimated.
I decide to have a little bag of the Nutrisystem Sweet and Salty Snack Mix and my last glass of water for the day. It's tasty and I like the "salty" part.
The good news is I got all my steps and then some in and my workout. My dinner was a little off track but not too bad. The scale will get the final word in the morning. Hope you all have a great weekend and I'll check back in tomorrow.
