This is strange but consistent. I'll spend the week inching downward, hopefully.
Wow, 80 days. I could have gone around the world (pun intended). I pitched a Nutrisystem Turkey Sausage and Egg Muffin in the micro and ladled out 1/2 cup of Fage 2% Greek Yogurt. I should be sufficiently fueled for my workout this morning. I had my usual 2 cups of coffee. This does not make for an attractive looking meal but its good and filling.
I took a short walk after the gym just to get a few steps in. I've still not made it to 5k yet but not far away. I'll wedge more steps in later then use the treadmill as needed. I need to buy some cashew nuts; I've been out for weeks. I had one ounce of almonds instead. I like raw almonds too and they may be even better for me but I still prefer raw cashews.
I gabbed a Nutrisystem Grilled Chicken Sandwich from the freezer, nuked it then crisped it up in the mini convection oven. A quick scan in the refrigerator did not net me anything interesting to top it with so I grabbed a bottle of Victoria Taco Sauce and glopped on about a tablespoon then smooshed it around. I guess I'd have to say "don't try this at home" because the results were less than stellar.
I dressed my usual pile of salad greens to serve along side.
Darn, missed my snack again today and NOT because I was out exercising. I just got busy, lost track of time.
Iim having an entree I haven't had for a long time, the Nutrisystem Chile With Beans. This is a shelf-stable little tub of beans. I topped it with some chopped yellow onion and about 3/4 ounce of freshly grated cheddar cheese.
I did try a new dessert/snack tonight and that is the Nutrisystem Oatmeal Raisin Cookie. I fixed myself a fresh cup of coffee and enjoyed that along with the cookie. This is a soft cookie which is probably what I would expect from this cookie. The flavor was pretty good it was just a little dry. This would be a good cookie to dunk in milk if you were into that sort of thing. It was pretty decent.
This ended up being a way busier day than I expected. About the only goal I met was my 64oz of water and I did work out but I'm so way-low on steps. There is no sense in crying over it now, just need to wake up tomorrow and get moving! See you all then!
