Sunday November 6, 2016 Total Steps: 11,474 (walk) Total Calories: 1226 Water Intake: 48 oz Weight Loss: (-18.2 lbs loss total to date) didn't weigh
It's a fine Sunday morning so I decided not to weigh today.
It's cool outside so a slice of Nutrisystem Thick Sliced French Toast sounded good. I whipped up a quick scrambled egg to serve alongside. The plate looks a bit stark but the food tasted good. I topped my French toast with the usual fake maple syrup.
Sunday is Farmer's market day here so I walked to the market for my weekly fresh eggs and salad greens. It also helps me to get some steps up, about 5k of them.
Unfortunately I took my usual fist-full of vitamins before I walked and my stomach was feeling a little sketchy. When I got home I ate 3 slices of spicy Toscano salami. You'd think this would be the worst thing to do but I think something, anything in my stomach other than vitamins was better than nothing. It worked, I felt better right away.
Armed with my bag of greens I dressed a few of them then heated a Nutrisystem Chicken Fajita Melt. It's so gloomy out today I've still not taken a second walk. It's going to get dark earlier so I'm really going to have to work to get my walks in before dark.
I hate to admit it out loud but I had a Kirkland Nut Bar for my afternoon snack. 210 calories of chocolate and nut bliss!
Before dinner I took another walk but still didn't meet my 11k step goal. I had an early dinner only because the time change has me a little off kilter. I made sauteed mushrooms to go with my Nutrisystem Stuffed Shells dinner. I was not really in a pasta mood but it was fine. I added 1/4 ounce freshly grated Parmesan cheese to try to pep it up a bit; not sure it helped.
Because I was naughty and had that midday snack bar I skipped my evening snack. I dutifully hopped on the ole treadmill and walked at a good pace 3.4 to 3.5mp for about 15 minutes. I finished up my steps for the day, just barely.
I didn't quite meet my water goal today. I have to say its tougher with the cooler weather. Yet another area of my life that could use some improvement. There were no standouts today food-wise. I guess my favorite was probably the salad greens at lunch, oh and that darn Kirkland Nut Bar. By the way those are only $16.99 at the store for 30 as opposed to $21.99 online.
