So I'm doing the inching back down thing. This is interesting because it seems to be a pattern. I'll have to watch that.
I heated my Nutrisystem Turkey Sausage and Egg Muffin. I tried to improve it with about 3/8 ounce shredded cheddar cheese. The problem was it wasn't enough to really enhance the flavor but it was more than enough calorically speaking. I just remembered it's National Sandwich Day so that was a perfect breakfast.
The cheese experiment was interesting. It was a good case of adding more calories but not enough additional flavor. I'll avoid this in the future.
Out of sheer lack of groceries and desire to be creative I slapped 2 Kirkland Signature Lean Ham slices atop my Killer Dave's Powerseed Bread. I squirted on a dollop or two of French's mustard and scarfed it down. I didn't even take time to take a picture, not that it was such a pretty site anyway.
I selected a shelf-stable envelope of Nutrisystem Red Beans and Rice. I've only had this one other time but it's still an OK meal. I sliced some jicama to go with and I poured some Bolthouse Greek Yogurt Blue cheese dressing for dip. The entree portion is smallish but it is filling.
Afternoon came and went without a snack. I'm starting to not prioritize these snacks, I need to mend my ways.
I haven't had the Nutrisystem Whole Wheat Ricotta Crepes in quite a while so I heated those and served it fresh spinach sauteed with garlic and a little kosher salt. Nothing fancy but it was quite enjoyable.
I purchased too many Nutrisystem Fudge Brownies so I had that for dessert. I was feeling a little snacky so I also enjoyed 1 ounce of almonds.
After dinner I hopped on the treadmill for 30 minutes to complete my steps for the day. I kept a 3.4 to 3.5 mph pace which is decent. My other walk was mid-day but I didn't walk as far as I should have; not in the mood. Today was a little bit of a downer so hoping tomorrow is a better one. See you Friday!
