What goes up, hopefully goes down, and it did. The next goal is -20. Wow, time flies when you're losing weight (hopefully).
I'm trying out the Nutrisystem Thick Sliced French Toast again with a simple scrambled egg. I'm not getting fancy because I have an early appointment. I topped with toast with warmed fat-free Maple syrup.
I was still at my appointment at snack time so there was no morning snack today.
I did make it back for lunch. That said I've been in a meeting all morning and I've had no exercise. I will dash back in a meeting shortly after lunch so prospect for exercise today are slim. I'm hoping I'll get home in time for a walk later in the day but it's not looking good.
I munched on my fresh little tomatoes a fresh bell pepper dipped in more Bolthouse Greek Yogurt Blue Cheese dressing. I had this along with a Nutrisystem Pepperoni Pizza Melt.
I'm trying to beef up my protein and reduce my carbs. The lowest carb ready-to-eat snack I had was the Nutrisystem Sweet and Salty Snack Mix. In retrospect I'd have been better off with 1/2 a cup of Greek Yogurt. No sense crying over it now. I did finally make it out for my walk. I did my usual 58 minutes and racked up about 8K steps. This means I'll have to hit the treadmill later.
In my continued quest to eat less carbs I selected yet another repeat, the Nutrisystem Mushroom Stuffed Chicken Breast. I sliced and sauteed a yellow squash to have alongside. The dinner seemed to be lacking so I made a quick fennel and red onion salad with a tiny bit of bell pepper and a little olive oil and red wine vinegar. I even added a little Marin Cheese Company Sheep Feta, like 3/8 ounce atop the salad although it didn't need it. After dinner I had a massive allergy attack. I never know what triggers these but I wonder about the cheese, who knows, it's always something. I've had this feta cheese many times and never had an issue, maybe something completely different.
Oh my I really have to get off this Nutrisystem Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt Bar kick I'm on given I'm almost out of them. Even so I ate it all and enjoyed it. After my snack I went out and walked on my treadmill to complete my 11K steps.
I usually try to write my blog as the day goes along. I got about half done yesterday and today (Wednesday) I needed to complete and post. It's been a crazy day! I'll write more about my chaos tomorrow but meanwhile this is why my blog is so late today. This was a good day food wise. Nothing overly exciting although I do love fresh fennel in a simple salad. My to-do list was long today and I can honestly say I barely touched it. This is just the way some day's going. Meanwhile, eat healthy and come back and read tomorrows blog!
