A little loss is better than no loss at all! I have workout day today and other than that not a lot of errands and chores. I should be able to get all my 11k steps in.
I felt like I needed a high protein breakfast today so I went all-in with a scrambled egg, 2 slices of Canadian Bacon (ham) and a couple slices of one of those tomatoes we picked yesterday. Where this breakfast falls down vs a Nutrisystem entree is fiber. The only fiber was in the tomatoes so not even much there. I probably could have had a V8 juice + some added powdered fiber like Benefiber OR I could have added a slice of my skinny bread or perhaps both. This is why pre-made options save you time otherwise you need to really plan carefully to get all your necessary nutrients in.
I had another Nutrisystem Nutricrush Shake for my snack this morning. By the way I always share the shake so I only really drink half. So far today I only have about 2.8 grams of fiber, really way too low.
My last remaining frozen lunch is the Nutrisystem Grilled Chicken Sandwich. This remains one of my favorite go-to lunches. I ended up with more today than I thought so I'm going to keep it real simple and just add a slice of tomato and I combined a teaspoon of mayo with a teaspoon of prepared horseradish to slather on for flavor. I found out I have something planned for the evening that I forgot about so I'm keeping my calories low in case I'm faced with dinner options that are less than ideal.
Knowing I'm going out for dinner I just had another low cal Mozzarella string cheese stick for a snack. These are not particularly filling but it was some good protein.
I attended a surprise birthday party for a friend at a very nice local spot with very good quality food. There were large charcuterie plates so lots of pretty healthy options. I do think I enjoyed more food than I should have but I would certainly not say I "pigged out". It's easy for me to resist "so-so" food but good food on the other hand, much harder to say no to. Dessert were cupcakes so I had a tiny bite, and lef the rest for my husband.
I got all 64 ounces of water down again! I'm on a roll with all this water thing. I did not get all my steps in today although I took a couple extra walks and even walked to dinner and back. My workout was a little tough and I think I may even have done more than I should have so I'm good on the strength-training side. I'm not sure if I'll weigh tomorrow, probably not. We shall see!
I don't understand Nutrisystem's shipping system. I know I've griped about this before. I'm out of almost all foods; I have one dinner left and they still have not even shipped the shelf-stable items of my order. My order showed "processing" as Monday and still nothing has shipped. Given it's almost the weekend there is little prospect I'll have more food in time. I'll have to go out and buy things, which is fine but I would suspect this might create a hardship for some other customers. They really need to step up their game with their shipping system.
