Oh, so close yet so far. I'm almost down 13lbs.
Monday's are my typical rush rush days and today was no exception. I grabbed a Nutrisystem Turkey Sausage and Egg Muffin out of the freezer, microwaved it, crisped it in the mini convection and tossed it down. And so the day went. I know, a little blah looking but it was food. I didn't even take time to add a "Powerfuel".
All I had handy today was one last Nutrisystem NutriCrush protein shake. I blended that with the usual 8 ounces of water and about 4 ounces of ice.
In the spirit of keeping things fast and simple to I heated a Nutrisystem Pepperoni Pizza Melt and served it with a handful of salad greens tossed with a about a teaspoon of olive oil and a little Balsamic vinegar. Simple and tasty.
I had just enough time to grab one Mozzarella Cheese Stick (50 calories), peel off the wrapper and quickly gobble it down. I went out for one of the few walks I had today.
Nothing leapt out at me in the freezer this evening so I grabbed my good 'ole Nutrisytem Turkey Medallions with Mashed Potatoes. I even took 25 minutes to roast some broccoli. I do like broccoli roasted. I may retract yesterday's comment about never eating broccoli again if we learned it wasn't so darn healthy. I do like it crunchy if not almost burnt. I sliced a tomato too so there would be some color contrast on the plate.
My calorie count was lower today but I tried to keep it that way given my lack of exercise today. I went ahead an devoured a Nutrisystem Ice Cream Sandwich, only 130 calories.
The day is all but a blur. Monday's tend to be that way. I'm happy my weight is still trending down but I'd love to see that next 1/10th of a pound disappear. Tomorrow I should find out when I can get back to exercising; soon I hope. Meanwhile, I'll just keep on keep'in on!
