I made it to my sub-goal so now I can go shopping for the new work out outfit. Just in time to not be able to use it haha! I'm sure I can get back to exercising soon.
I decided to try something new for breakfast; the Nutrisystem Thick Sliced French Toast. I don't eat French Toast very often but as I rule I like it but prefer thin, not thick slices. That said I was pleasantly surprised with this entree. It was not bad at all. I think I like it better than the pancakes and maybe as good as the waffles. I made a quick scrambled egg for my extra protein. I dunked my French toast in some fake maple syrup.
It's back to my Dr. Keith's Chocolate Cream protein shake for my snack. I need to reorder, I'm almost out.
I'm down to almost nothing but melts and nothing else. That rhymes! I decided just to close my eyes and reach in and whatever I pickup I'll eat. Sounds scientific eh? Well I ended up finding the last Nutrisystem Hamburger so I ate that with a little mustard and a fresh tomato slice.
I was feeling like something sweet sounded good so I ate 1/3 of the Nutrisystem Fudge Brownie. Not sure why I only ate 1/3 but mostly feeling guilty for eating something sweet in the middle of the day.
Although this entree is similar to the Nutrisystem Stuffed Shells, I opted for the Nutrisystem Ravioli Formaggio tonight. I still have quite a few eggplant in the garden so I picked one, sliced it, then baked in the oven. I love to get the slices really browned, close to crispy. I've eaten more eggplant this summer than the last 5 years combined.
Dinner was pretty filling but I still wanted something sweet afterwards. I can't believe I scarfed down yet another Nutrisystem Dark Chocolate Salted Nut Bar! Those are just too good. I better order fewer of them next time.
I got several walks in today, most on the treadmill. I did take one short, maybe 15 minute walk in the morning around 9am. Then I did 2 short treadmill walks during the day. After dinner (and that last nut bar) I thought I better get more steps in so I walked for 20 minutes again on the treadmill. I even managed to hit my 11k steps a day goal again! The treadmill seems more gentle on my back than does walking on concrete.
Now that my weight ticked down another notch I feel more energized to keep going. Success is a good motivator.
