I rushed out of bed this morning and forgot to weigh. This is probably for the better given I'm starting to be fearful of weigh-ins.
I had some workers due in for some house repair so I had to just chow down quickly. I microwaved another Nutrisytem Turkey Sausage and Egg Muffin. I didn't even have time to crisp up the bread which meant the sandwich was the texture of vulcanized rubber. Nevertheless it filled the empty stomach void. I followed up later with a small glass of V8 juice (low sodium).
I'm back to ole Dr. Keith's Chocolate Cream protein shake. I'm trying to be better about snacks. Oh I forgot to mention but last week we tried kicking the shake up a bit by adding some Cascabel Chile Powder which was actually pretty darn good!
Next time I'm going to add some additional shelf stable lunch entrees like some soups, or beans or something. I'm getting bored of all the "melts" although I do find them sufficiently filling and flavorful. Today I had the Nutrisystem Steak and Cheese Melt and a couple of tomato slices.
Oh my, skipped my snack again. I did make it out for a walk but it does seem to make my back issue worse. Lack of exercise is not good either.
I was feeling lousy so I just slung a Nutrisystem Chicken Enchilada entree into the microwave. I tried to doll it up a little with a few cheddar cheese shreds and some chopped scallion. Eventually I doused it with Chipotle Hot Sauce and that helped zip it up a bit.
I did indulge myself after dinner with the Nutrisystem Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt Nut Bar again. Those really are tasty!
This was a pretty uneventful day. All my foods today were repeats. I got quite a few steps in by the end of the day so that for the most part is a good thing. I look forward to tomorrows weigh-in. See you then!
