I try not to skip weighing mostly because I'm always so anxious but today I did as I was rushing around, still getting reorganized after my trip and I had to rush off early for my first workout for a week. Although I've had tons of walking and hiking exercise it's not the same as a work out.
I had to chow-down early before my work out. I topped my Nutrisystem Granola Cereal with 1/2 cup Total 0 Fage Plain yogurt. I had planned on having a scrambled egg too but I ran out of time. My next Nutrisystem order is due tomorrow or the next day at the latest. This is the first time I've tried this cereal and it was pleasing. It was sweeter than I like and very crunchy, almost teeth-challenging. I'd eat this again for sure.
A pretty tasty granola. Went well with my plain yogurt.
It was my same old, same old Dr. Keith's Chocolate Cream. I particularly like having this after my work out. Oh by the way, this was my first work out since my return. It went pretty well. I'm starting to feel a little stronger.
Today I had the Nutrisystem Hamburger. I'm starting to enjoy that more and more. I made my harissa mayonnaise again, and added lettuce and tomato from the garden. Today my burger looked like the Flying Nun with wings of lettuce.
This was my winged burger.
Most of this went into my burger but only 1 teaspoon of the harissa mayonnaise and a slice of tomato. I ate half of the rest of the tomatoes.
I needed to use up my Mozzarella Fresca. This is a fresh cheese so the shelf life is not that of the harder version. I topped my tomato slices with 1 3/8" ounces of the cheese. Then I topped it all off with shredded basil. I could eat this every day!
I'm having those Nutrisystem Roast Turkey Medallions with Mashed Potatoes, again. I long for cranberry sauce but alas, too much sugar for now. I still enjoy this meal even though I've had it several times now. With that pile of eggplant in the refrigerator I felt compelled to bake up another batch. It's good but I think I need to donate some of this eggplant to the neighbors.
I took another walk after dinner and then I had my Nutrisystem Ice Cream Sandwich. I'm almost to the bottom of those too. I sure hope this shipment comes soon. I delayed my shipment while I was out of town but I should not have delayed it for so long. I can always wing it as I need to. I'm out of breakfasts, tomorrow is my last lunch and I think I have a couple day's worth of dinners left. I won't starve I'm sure!
I'm almost but not quite caught up with tasks and chores. I'm barely squeaking by with my 11k steps a day but this is to be expected spending a lot of time on catch-up. Tomorrow is a new day, see you then!
