Well I'm certainly not losing weight but pretty much holding my own. I was off to the gym today so I had just enough time to wolf down a quick breakfast of Fage 2% Greek yogurt, some fresh blueberries and 1/4 cup of granola.
I did my usual walk around a few local blocks before I headed back home. I had a lot to accomplish today in my office and needed to get right to it. I did take time to have a Nutrisystem Chocolate TurboShake.
I took a very brief break and had a half of a cheddar cheese sandwich and a little cherry tomato from the garden.
I was swamped so I didn't take time for a snack. I'm going to eat dinner in town, I'm too tired to cook.
We walked up to a place not far from the house. We shared the salad and the pasta shown below. The salad had pistachios and Gorgonzola cheese. Nothing to complain about there!
The pasta shown below was plenty for two of us. It was spaghetti with olive oil, red chile flakes, tons of garlic and some bread crumbs on top.
Good thing most of my meals were skimpy today. We also shared this little chocolate tart (about 4" in diameter) with a butter crumb crust. Very chocolate, very good.
Dinner and dessert more than blew away the 1200 calories a day I try to have. Even though I was swamped all day most of my work was at my desk so I although I did hit my 10k step goal I really needed more.
