I was feeling "so so" this morning. I wanted a little something to eat so I heated a Nutrisystem Buttermilk Waffle. I topped it with about 2 teaspoons of butter and my favorite fake maple syrup. I usually just eat one but I was still hungry so I ate the other one (2 per package = 1 serving). Nutrisystem adds protein powder and fiber to their foods so they pack a higher than normal amount of both in their foods.
My stomach was not being co-operative today so I skipped a snack.
I wasn't feeling a whole lot better at noon so I just heated a small piece of flat bread with cheese, kale and mushrooms leftover from Sunday's dinner. I didn't even bother putting it on a plate. It tasted good and was plenty to eat.
I had an appointment in town that I decided to walk to given I haven't even had a walk today. I didn't bother with a snack. I knew I'd stop on the way back for "something".
"Something" ended up being a shared meal of one Chicken Quesadilla and one Field Greens salad. The salad had way more dressing than it needed but it hit the spot nevertheless. I had 2 pieces of the quesadilla.
Needless to say I didn't need or want any dessert. I did hoof it back home but still did not get 10k in again today. Later in the evening I had a couple slices of cheddar cheese.
Hopefully my stomach will get back to normal tomorrow. Meanwhile I only had a few meals, didn't snack much and didn't hit my step goal. I'll be back to the gym tomorrow and hopefully get some additional walking in. I'll be reporting back.
