It's gym day but the cupboard (or refrigerator) is a little bare. I wanted some decent protein so I scrambled an egg and a half with a little scallion, Canadian bacon and about a teaspoon of butter.
I took a brief walk after gym but my stomach is not doing so well today. When I got home I was a little hungry so I just ate a slice of Swiss cheese.
My stomach is settling slowly and I did get hungry around lunch time. I rarely eat canned soup but for whatever reason Split Pea Soup sounded good so I had about 1 cup.
Nothing healthy sounded good so I ate 2 pieces of Hershey's Milk Chocolate Nuggets.
I was a little hungry at dinner time. I got one more short walk in to the grocery store for a couple of potatoes to bake. They took over an hour to bake so I was good and hungry by then. I topped my little spud with a little butter, a couple teaspoons of sour cream, a few cheddar cheese shreds, some fresh chives from the garden and my usual kosher salt and pepper. I was still hungry after eating the half shown, so I ate the other half too. I used a big plate which made the potato look smaller than it really was. It was about 12 ounces.
I was plenty full after eating that entire potato but later... I was tempted by some Chocolate Peanut Butter ice cream. It was perhaps 1/3 cup tops, good but not on most "healthy living" plans. At this point I pretty much eat what my stomach will tolerate.
I'm sure I could have done worse. I didn't make my step goal for the day. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow and get a little more activity in. Hope you all are having a great week!
