My weight is back down which is good. I felt fairly decent so I made a quick but satisfying breakfast. I had one egg, scrambled, 1 Nutrisystem Buttermilk Waffle with a little butter and fake maple syrup and 1/2 of a fresh peach. Thank you again neighbor Terri for the great peaches!
I had a stick of light string cheese for a quick snack. Nothing else really sounded good.
I headed out for a walk slightly before lunch time. I was getting hungry so I stopped for a quick sandwich. I shared a steak sandwich with blue cheese and basil pesto and a little field greens salad on the side. Even though I normally love blue cheese it seemed overly strong to me today. I ate it anyway and for the most part the meal was good.
At some point I raided the cashew nut jar again and had about 1.5 ounces of raw cashews.
Lately I'm having to strike a balance between things I should eat, things I shouldn't eat and something that sounds good enough to eat. It's complicated. I had leftover chicken and leftover fresh peach salsa. Those were both "should-eats" and "sounded good enough to eats". The fresh fruit salsa had oxidized a bit but the flavor was still good.
Later in the evening I succumbed to the bag of Hershey's nuggets. I ate 3.
I never felt up for another walk so I finished off my day 3k steps short of my goal. I should have a better week, next week in terms of exercise. I can't believe the weekend is almost here again. Time is really flying!
