I got up early as usual for gym day. I didn't sleep well last night and my appetite was not great in the morning. I had a small bowl of Fage 2% Greek yogurt (about 1/4 cup) with about 1/4 cup granola. I headed out to the gym. Given I slept poorly my workout seemed hard but I completed the workout being the trooper I am.
I had a little appetite when I got back to the gym so I had a few raw cashew nuts.
I was feeling a little perkier so I headed out for a walk. As I passed by our little bakery I decided my favorite Nutter Butter cookie sounded good. I purchased one and carried it back home with me. When I got home I had the cookie with a little black iced coffee. The cookie seemed to not disturb my stomach.
I didn't have an afternoon snack. I did put my feet up for a few minutes and took a short cat-nap.
Last week I decided to order a few of the Nutrisystem foods that tasted pretty good to me. They are portion/calorie controlled and handy on days when I don't feel like cooking. They arrived today so I heated a Nutrisystem Turkey Medallions with Mashed Potatoes entree. I had one cucumber in the garden the critters didn't steal yet. I sliced that and topped it with some salt, pepper, vinegar and a little olive oil. My eyes were bigger than my stomach as my mom used to say. I ate most of everything but didn't quite eat all the mashed potatoes or the cucumber.
I did get hungry later on so I ate a Nutrisystem Chocolate Cupcake. Those are still a fave.
I barely met my step goal but at least I did meet it. My eating stayed pretty healthy. I was grateful to have some of the Nutrisystem foods handy. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow and perhaps I can get more exercise in. Hope you all are having a great week. See you tomorrow.
