Hooray for gym day! My favorite part of gym day is when I walk out of the gym, finished for the day, haha! I started the day with my typical pre-gym breakfast of Fage 2% Greek yogurt, fresh blueberries, and a seedy-nutty granola.
I got my usual short walk in after gym. I'm not sure if I'll make it out for another walk today. I showered and cleaned up then had one stick of light string cheese. I also had a cup of coffee with about 1 tablespoon of cream.
I had a two hour appointment shortly before lunch. I took some raw cashew nuts and water so I'd have a snack.
Not sure if this was a snack or belated lunch. I just had 3 crackers with a little cheese on each and a few grapes.
I figured I wouldn't be up to cooking dinner, which I wasn't. I'm not fond of take-out because you just can't control calories, sodium, fat etc. That said I was hungry enough to want to eat. My husband decided to fetch some Chinese food. I kept my portions smallish. I had some chicken with bell pepper, onion and black bean sauce. A little fried rice and some chicken with orange sauce.
I felt pretty full after dinner but later I just was in a mood to snack. I had a few more raw cashew nuts and 3 Hershey's nuggets with almond. I'm not sure milk chocolate has much of a place on a healthy living eating plan but.. oh well.
I'm glad it was gym day and as I suspected I never made it out for another walk. We rarely get "weather" in this part of California but we actually had thunder, lightening and a little rain! Given I didn't feeling like walking anyway at least I had a decent excuse. I'll check in again tomorrow.
