I really need to grocery shop. "Pickins" were slim this morning. I quickly scrambled an egg and toasted a slice of Dave's Killer skinny bread. After breakfast I headed out for a walk. It's supposed to heat up again today so I need to get my exercise in early while it's fairly cool. I got less than 8k steps in so I'll have to walk again at some point today.
I took a couple of bites of my leftover lamb shank from last night and washed it down with some iced coffee (black).
It was too early for lunch but I was just hungry. I still have a few Nutrisystem foods kicking around in my pantry. I decided to have a lazy lunch so I grabbed a Nutrisystem Trail Mix Bar. I haven't had one of these in ages but it tastes pretty good! This would have been OK except around 1:00 I got hungry again. I heated another bowl of leftover pasta.
I headed out for another walk but I skipped a snack.
I wasn't terribly hungry. I had some cheese and crackers. I only ate about 1 1/2 ounces of cheese and about 6 of these crackers. I had one tomato the critters didn't eat. I sliced it and served it with a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
I did get a little hungry later in the evening so I had some raw cashew nuts.
Not a bad day. I just met my step goal but didn't go a whole lot over. I'm hoping Florida doesn't get too slammed by Irma. You all stay safe out there! See you Sunday.
