No gym today. Mostly we have a lot of heat to contend with. I started my day with my usual granola, yogurt and berry breakfast, minus the granola because I ran out. I really need to shop, AGAIN. I headed out for a walk after breakfast.
I wanted to use up the last of the ham. This was not good ham. I've purchased it twice but not again. The quality seems poor and the flavor is odd, slightly sour and the texture is mushy. The ham served 2 of us.
I have leftovers to use. My husband and I shared the plates below. Some grapes, a wedge of Laughing Cow light Swiss cheese, Toscano salami, prosciutto, and some sliced seeded baguette.
I have a friend coming over for a visit so I skipped my snack.
I didn't really have dinner I just had a late snack with my friend. We had more cheese, bread, and fruit (she doesn't eat meat). We had many glasses of iced Pellegrino water.
Between the buckets of water we drank and the salty cheese I didn't really want anything else.
I took another walk late to polish off my steps for the day. I really have to stop this daily cheese eating. While it's a nice cool meal it's just too fattening. It's getting hotter by the day, tomorrow is supposed to be worse. I'll let you know how bad it gets.
