It's Monday, which means hitting the gym at 7:00am. I started my day out on the right foot but the day was to take a less than healthy turn. I had my usual Fage 2% Greek yogurt, granola and fresh blueberries.
I get a walk in after gym, enough so that hopefully I'll make my step goal for the day. I invited a friend who does not have a/c to come over early in the afternoon to cool off and have some refreshments.
I had to go out and shop for cheese, bread, and some charcuterie to serve our guest. I totally skipped lunch.
My guest arrived around 2:30, right ON time. She walked about 3 miles in this 90F heat to get here! I'm impressed!!. I'm sure she burnt off any calories she took in. That said, I didn't burn them off. We shared a nice platter (sorry, no pics) of cheese, grapes, melon, prosciutto, Tosano salami and a nice seeded baguette.
Lunch was dinner!
I did enough damage with the snack/dinner. I did have some iced coffee even though I know it will disrupt my sleep.
Just before dark I went out for one short, last walk. It was still beastly hot out. We have about a week of this dismal weather before it settles back down again. Keeping up with my step goal will be challenging to say the least. Have a great week, and I'll check in tomorrow.
