Back on December 18, 2019, the US FDA informed Almark Foods that their hard-cooked egg products may be the source of a recent Listeria monocytogenes outbreak that has sickened several people and includes one fatality.
Out of an abundance of caution, Almark has expanded the recall on December 23, 2019, to include all hard-boiled egg products that originated in its Gainesville, Georgia plant. The recall consists of products with "Best If Used By" dates up through March 2, 2020.
