California-Style Wild Rice and Walnut Dressing

Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup each: chopped onions and chopped celery
    • 1 clove garlic, minced
    • 11/2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
    • 2 cups cooked brown rice (cooked in chicken broth)
    • 1 cup cooked California Wild Rice (cooked according to package)
    • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
    • 2/3 cup dried cranberries
    • 1/2 teaspoon sage
    • 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
    • 1/2 cup beef or chicken broth

Instructions

In a small skillet over medium heat, cook onions, celery and garlic in butter until tender. Combine with remaining ingredients in a buttered 2½ quart baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
Makes 6 servings.
