April 18, 2007 - Natural Balance has recalled foods that include
Rice Protein which they fear is contaminated with the same potentially

Menu Foods
announced a large scale pet food recall on March16, 2007 after consumer
complaints of pet deaths and pets with kidney failure. Although
the company has not been able to pinpoint any exact cause from their
foods they are voluntarily recalling millions of units of foods.
The company did say the problems coincided with addition of a wheat
product from a new vendor.
