Grilled Steak & Hot Sweet Onions
Recipe for Grilled Steak & Hot Sweet Onions. Use Maui,
Vidalia, or Texas onions

I N G R E D I E N T S
3 large onions,
Vidalia or Maui, cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon pepper
4 beef steaks, cut 1 inch thick (8 ounces each)

R U C T I O N S Arrange sliced
onions on large square of heavy-duty foil.
In small bowl, combine honey and mustard; drizzle over onions. Sprinkle with
salt, paprika and pepper. Fold foil loosely around onions and seal edges
tightly.
Grill packet, on covered grill, over medium-hot heat 20 minutes or until
onions are tender; turn once.
Slash any fat around edge of steaks every 4 inches. About 5 minutes after
onions start to grill, place steaks on grill with onion packet. Grill 8 to
10 minutes on each side for medium-rare or to desired doneness.
Serve onions piled atop of each steak.
