A clear, very strong distilled alcohol. Schnapps comes in many flavor varieties include prune, apple, peach to name a few. The liquor is frequently blended with other mixers to make cocktails but it is also served straight over ice. Ingredient Substitutions Substituting alcohol types is a little tricky depending on the use. Try vodka or gin in drinks. Like flavored fruit purees or juices can be substituted for flavored schnapps. |
