I haven't really transitioned to my new eating plan so I'm doing kind of a hybrid thing. For breakfast I scrambled an egg with some scallions and had once slice of bacon and one slice of Dave's Killer skinny bread, toasted. I added about 2 teaspoons of butter to the toast.
I headed out for a decent walk early because it's going to be a scorcher today probably close to 100. When I got back I had a Nutrisystem Chocolate Turboshake with my usual 1/2 banana.
I skipped lunch and afternoon snack because I planned to head out around 3:00 for a very late lunch/early dinner in town.
Skipped (I know skipping is not a good idea).
It is so hot that walking into town is not an option. We did park a couple of blocks away so I could get a few steps in. This is a perfect sushi day. We split orders of unagi, California roll and one custom roll. All were delicious as usual. I have not had sushi in ages!
Later in the evening after it cooled down to 86F I headed out for a walk so I made my 10k steps for the day. I rewarded myself with about 6 Hershey's nuggets.
It's just too hot! Despite that I got 2 walks in to meet my 10K step goal. Sushi isn't exactly weigh loss food but it was good and cooking was out of the question today. Tomorrow is supposed to be equally as hot or hotter. Hope you all are staying cool. See you then!
