It's back to the gym day so I had usual breakfast, Greek yogurt, fresh blueberries and this time Nutrisystem Biscotti Bites. I'm running out of my Nutrisystem foods but I am trying to use everything up so I don't waste it.
After gym I took a short walk. When I got back I frothed up a Nutrisystem Chocolate Turboshake with 1/2 banana.
I've been working at my desk all morning. I took time to heat a Nutrisystem Hamburger and slice some cucumber. I topped my burger with some lettuce and Dijon mustard. I poured some Bolthouse Greek Yogurt blue cheese dressing in a cup to use as a cuke dip.
At some point I stopped and had a stick of light string cheese.
I picked up some nice squash at the farmer's market yesterday. I used a few sprays of oil in the pan, heated the squash then added a little water to the pan until the squash was cooked. Afterwards I added about 2 teaspoons of butter. This method uses a fraction of the fat I would use cooking my "old way".
I also baked some chicken thighs. I'm not a fan of boneless, skinless chicken so I buy the pieces I want and just remove the skin before cooking.
Later in the evening I enjoyed a Kirkland Nut Bar.
This is the first day I did not meet my step goal for almost a full week. I had an unavoidable boatload of work to do at my desk. My meals were all quite sensible. Tomorrow is Fourth of July, hope I do as well. May you all have a safe and sane day!
