My workers are due at 7:30am sharp. I downed a couple of cups of black coffee with a Nutrisystem Cinnamon Roll. Given temps are still in the high 90's and up for the week I didn't figure I'd be getting much exercise.
Nothing to snack on so I didn't.
The workers took lunch early so I chowed down on a Nutrisystem Steak and Cheese Melt. I didn't have provisions for a salad.
Before lunch and before it was so hot out I couldn't breath I did some yard cleanup. In fact the score lines in my front driveway had filled up with bits of sand and bits of debris. I used a flat head screwdriver and dug out the gunk. Then I used a new QUIET, rechargeable leaf blower to gather the stuff in a pile so I could complete the task with broom and a dust pan. This long story was to explain how I managed to get so many steps in.
I'm not sure if it was insanity or what but we decided, in the 94F heat to walk to town for a salad. We had a nice mesquite grilled chicken salad from our local Fresh Mex place. It was pretty early, about 3:30.
Because dinner was so early I did get a little hungry later so I ate one of 210 calorie Kirkland Nut Bars.
I got more steps in that I thought I would. I don't recommend taking an almost 2 mile walk in 94F weather (like I did). I'm deciding if I'll go to the gym in the morning. I'll let you know.
