Baked Crab Cakes
You can adapt any crab cake recipe to a baked rather than pan fried version.  We've included a basic recipe or you can select another from our recipe suggestions on the opposite side of this page.

Follow the recipe instructions.  Make sure to chill them at least 30 minutes before cooking.

Preheat oven 400 degrees.

Place a small amount of vegetable oil on a paper towel and rub the bottom of a heavy cast iron skillet.  Heat to the skillet until it is hot.  Add the crab cakes a few at a time making sure not to crowd the pan.  Cook each side just until brown, about 3 -4 minutes on each side.
Place pan into the oven and bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes
