1 1/2 quarts bread cut into 3/4 inch cubes
1/2 cup gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
1/2 cup roasted garlic cloves, rough chop
1 pint half and half
4 each eggs, large
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon white pepper, ground
1/4 cup roasted garlic puree
In a 9" x 6" square baking pan with 2" sides, toss the bread cubes, Gorgonzola and rough chopped, roasted garlic cloves. Mix the eggs in a bowl then add the remaining ingredients to the eggs and whisk them well. Pour over the bread cubes, garlic and Gorgonzola and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, until the custard is just set and the surface is golden brown.
