This recipe uses Monterey Pasta Spinach and Cheese Ravioli served with a quick homemade Gorgonzola cream sauce.
20 Monterey Pasta Spinach and Cheese ravioliSauce2 tablespoons butter5 ounces Gorgonzola cheese (or your favorite blue cheese), cut into cubes1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
Prepare ravioli according to package directions. Ravioli take only 5 minutes to cook so start making your sauce once you place the ravioli in the boiling water.Gorgonzola Cream SauceMelt butter in a small saucepanAdd cream and stir. Add the Gorgonzola cheese and stir until melted. Keep the sauce warm while you drain the pasta. Place the drained ravioli (5 per person) in a shallow bowl or plate and drizzle with the sauce. Alternately you can gently toss the ravioli in the sauce if you prefer. Serve the pasta with a simple washed baby greens salad with a balsamic vinaigrette.
