We are always on the lookout for recipes that incorporate foods rich in Omega 3's. This simple spread is made with canned sardines, cream cheese, parsley, scallions and fresh lemon.
3 1/2 oz can of sardines, packed in oil and drained1 1/2 oz cream cheese, softened1 tablespoon fresh parsley leaves, minced1 scallion, minced1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice 1 baguette
In a small bowl with a fork mash together the sardines, the cream cheese, the parsley, the scallion, the lemon juice, and pepper to taste. Serve the spread on thin slices of baguette.
