Recipe for Blue Corn Tortillas

Ingredients

2 cups water
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups blue cornmeal

Instructions

In a saucepan add water and bring water to a boil. Place the blue corn flour (masa) in a deep bowl and gradually pour in the boiling water, stirring constantly until the mixture forms a firm dough.

Cool for about 15 minutes then divide the dough into 1 1/2" balls. Press each ball using a tortilla press.

Lightly brown on both sides in a hot iron skillet or comal.
