San Angel Easy Chile con Carne

Beef roast simmered in cascabel sauce and beef broth.  Use to make burritos or serve with rice and beans.

Ingredients

3 pounds beef chuck roast, cut into 1" cubes
1 tablespoon corn oil
1 jar San Angel Cascabel Sauce
2 cans beef broth (as needed)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 300°F.

Heat oil in an ovenproof Dutch Oven over medium high heat. Add been and brown well on all sides.Remove all but 1 teaspoon of fat.

Add one jar of San Angel Cascabel Sauce and enough beef broth or water to almost cover the meat. Bring to simmer and put in oven covered for 2 hours or until meat is fork tender.

Serve as an entrée with beans over rice or use in burritos..
