This is a very simple 3-ingredient recipe. You could try other types of chile paste but ancho provides a delicate chile flavor and heat without being too distracting.
1/4 cup chocolate syrup 2 teaspoons ancho chile paste (see link to recipe below) 2 scoops vanilla ice cream pinch of cayenne pepper powder (optional)
Combine chile paste with chocolate syrup and mix well. Divide ice cream into 2 dishes and top with sauce. For an extra kick you can sprinkle the top with with a pinch of cayenne pepper. Chile Paste Click to see instructions for making chile pastes
