Banana Dog Treats

These are sweet treats so use sparingly.  Banana dog treats should be refrigerated OR placed in zip lock bags and remove a few at a time for daily use.

Ingredients

3 cups rolled oats (don't use quick cooking oatmeal)
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 eggs
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup honey
1/2 milk
2 bananas, mashed


Instructions

Preheat Oven to 325 degrees
Grease a 9.5 x 14 baking pan

Combine oil, honey, milk, eggs and bananas in a large bowl and mix well.  Add dry ingredients in 3 intervals mixing lightly each time to incorporate. 

Spread mixture in pan and bake for about 25 minutes.  Allow to cool and cut into 2" squares.

This recipe was very easy yo make.  I made it out of 1/2 of the ingredients in a round cake tin and it made 12 slices (depending on how big you wanted them).  I actually made them for my dogs birthday so  the treats looked like a cake!  Well he seems to really like them and also smell good to me.  I would make them again for him as a special treat : )

My dog enjoyed these. It's easy to make and the final product looks like a muesli bar slice though consistency is a bit softer.
